Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and ThomasMore (“ThomasMore”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a project owned and operated by Araik Tonian, and govern your access to and use of our website at thomasmoreai.com, our marketplace of legal skills, plugins and databases, our MCP and APIs, and our desktop application (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. Some features require an account. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
2. The Service
ThomasMore is a catalog and aggregator that helps you discover, run and publish legal skills and plugins, and access external legal databases. We collect skills from public sources (such as public code repositories) and accept submissions from authors. The Service lets you run skills on our website, connect them to third-party AI assistants, or use them in our desktop application.
3. Skills, plugins and licences
Each skill, plugin or database made available through the Service is provided under its own licence and by its own author. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the licence and the contents of any skill before you use, install or rely on it. ThomasMore does not own third-party skills, does not guarantee their quality, accuracy, legality or safety, and does not endorse any author. Indexing a skill is not a representation that it is suitable for your purpose.
4. Not legal advice
The Service and the skills available through it are tools — not a law firm and not a substitute for professional judgement. Their output does not constitute legal advice, creates no attorney-client relationship, and may be inaccurate or out of date. You must independently verify any output and have it reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on it. You remain solely responsible for your use of any output.
5. Your content and submissions
You retain ownership of the skills, plugins and other content you submit (“Your Content”). By submitting, you represent that you have all rights necessary to do so and that Your Content does not infringe any third party’s rights or any law. You grant ThomasMore a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute and make Your Content available through the Service under the licence you select at submission. Where paid skills, plugins or MCPs are offered in the future, additional author and revenue-share terms will apply and be presented separately. Any feedback or suggestions you give us may be used by us without restriction or obligation to you.
6. Acceptable use
When using the Service you agree not to:
- use it for any unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful purpose;
- upload or distribute malware, or content that is malicious, illegal or violates third-party rights;
- misrepresent AI-generated output as independently verified or as professional legal advice;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
- use the Service to build a competing catalog from our data, or otherwise breach these Terms.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service itself — including the website, software, design, branding and the organisation of the catalog — is owned by ThomasMore or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
8. The desktop application
The desktop application processes your documents locally on your own device; your documents are not uploaded to our servers unless you choose to use a feature that sends data to a third-party model or service you have configured. You are responsible for your own environment, backups and any third-party models or tools you connect.
9. Third-party content and services
The Service links to and integrates with third parties — including code repositories, AI assistants, external databases and other tools. We are not responsible for third-party content, services or terms, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own agreements.
10. Fees
The public catalog is currently free to browse and use. We may introduce paid skills, plugins, MCPs or features in the future; any fees, billing terms and author revenue-share arrangements will be disclosed before you incur them.
11. Copyright and takedowns
We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content available through the Service infringes your rights, contact us at araik@thomasmoreai.com with enough detail to identify the content and your rights, and we will review and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to it.
12. Disclaimers
The Service and all skills are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, security or uninterrupted operation, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThomasMore and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or business, arising out of or relating to the Service or any skill — even if advised of the possibility. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ThomasMore and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities and reasonable costs arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any third-party right.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, or remove content, if you breach these Terms, to comply with law, or to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
16. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the competent courts of the Republic of Armenia will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
