Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ThomasMore (“ThomasMore”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use our website at thomasmoreai.com, our marketplace of legal skills, plugins and databases, and our desktop application (together, the “Service”). It also describes your rights and how to exercise them.
1. Who we are
ThomasMore is operated by Araik Tonian. If you have any question about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at araik@thomasmoreai.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — when you sign in, submit a skill or contact us, we process identifiers such as your name, email address and, where applicable, your author handle and public profile.
- Content you submit — skills, plugins, descriptions, metadata and any other material you publish to the marketplace, together with the licence and authorship information attached to it.
- Usage and device data — when you visit the website we automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, search queries, referring pages and approximate location, mainly through analytics.
- Cookies and local storage — small files and browser storage used to run the site, remember your preferences and measure usage (see section 5).
- Communications — the content of messages you send us by email or other channels.
The desktop application processes your documents locally on your own device. Your documents are not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly choose to use a feature that sends data to a third-party model or service you have configured.
3. How we use your information
We use personal data to operate, maintain and improve the Service; to provide your account and publish contributed skills; to respond to your requests and communicate with you; to analyse and improve usage, performance and security; to detect and prevent fraud, abuse and malicious content; and to comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service and your account); legitimate interests (to secure, analyse and improve the Service, and to moderate content), balanced against your rights; consent (for non-essential cookies/analytics and marketing, which you can withdraw at any time); and compliance with a legal obligation.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies and local storage to make the site work and to remember your preferences. We also use analytics to understand how the Service is used and to improve it; these may set cookies and collect usage and device data. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, or refuse or delete non-essential cookies through your browser settings; doing so will not affect the core functionality of the site.
6. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers / sub-processors — hosting, storage, content-delivery, analytics and security vendors who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
- Authorities and advisers — where required by law, regulation or legal process, or to protect our rights, users and the public;
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Content you publish to the marketplace (including your author name and the skill itself) is public by design.
7. International data transfers
We may process and store personal data in countries outside your own, including outside the EEA. Where we do, we put appropriate safeguards in place — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or transfers to countries with an adequacy decision — to protect your data.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. Public marketplace content remains available while it is published.
9. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access your personal data; to correct or update it; to delete it; to restrict or object to certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email araik@thomasmoreai.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
10. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; please keep your account credentials confidential.
11. Children
The Service is intended for professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-party sites and skills
The marketplace links to and indexes content from third parties, and skills may reference external sources or tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites, authors or services; please review their own policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
